Another kind of animation

These are highly cool mechanical animations.

They are labelled Optical Illusions, but they are not, really, they are animations. You actually do see what you see, because the slots hide different things at different times.

Really? The illusion of movement doesn't count? How does one define "illusion" then?

(Or... are movies "illusions" I wonder. After all, they are made of still images; [arguing against myself].)

Jeff, yes indeed, movies is the illusion of animation, I discounted that as being something else than those things we normally call Optical Illusions, though I guess technically it is one.
