Modern parking tech

[Thanks to Mark]
High-tech parking technology in Budapest, video. (Note: loud sound, which can't be adjusted.)

This is very cool. One only has to hope that Budapest is not prone to power-outs, or the software prone to Blue Screens Of Death.       :-)

Whilst the tech is good and no chance of bashing your doors on the concrete pillars in the too small spaces perhaps we should really look at the girl instead - she's cute

I did notice, but refrained from commenting, lest anybody should think I have pretty women on my brains. :-)

[The sound can be adjusted on your favorite video player, if you first receive the whole movie (.FLV format) with your sound muted, and then retrieve it from your Temps folder. Like I always do!]

This will never work in Lebanon! For one, the same rainy weather that causes systematic power outages would soon flood that nice DEEP UNDERGROUND MECHANICAL installation! Now, a subterranean parking for submarines, THAT could possibly work in Beirut. ;-p
There's always some extra available liquid in our chronically clogged sewers, if need arises...

Our in-your-face-fancy-brand-new international airport does have a tokens system for paying the parking of your car.
All the rest is pretty much left to the user, including finding your car again in the two vast, poorly-lit, UNMARKED levels!
(BTW, you're billed according to the time spent inside......)

Dave,
I didn't wait for your advice!!! :-)

Eo,
Are you *sure* you're not *just a wee bit* on the prude side? LOL!
When was the last time you rode your junior ATV, hmmm?
