Mow the lawn

[Thanks to Ron]
"Whenever I see a weed, I mow that rascal down, so all that's left for me to see are tulips on a mound."

UK version:

The US version, a bit more subtle:

I like the UK one much better. :)

The first one was run briefly in the U.S. Give you three guesses as to why it's now known as the U.K. version.

1) Americans are less interested in gardening?

2) the mixed-culture getup of the models/singers upset Americans?

3) Americans thought it was too sexual in nature?

How boring the world would be if every lawn were mowed or landscaped, though. I enjoy the wild spaces that are left natural, too. Variety is nice.

eolake- "Too sexual"? what do those words mean when put together like that? Is that like "too healthy"?

Wild is good... but mowed is really more practical.

I agree, despite having the sexlife of Mother Theresa.

Kent:
I too like variety. I got bored with wild bushes when everybody had them, and I get bored with smoothies now everybody has them.

Also, while many would agree on your second point, I think you'll find many people who think that sexuality is best left under very, very tight limits. Like inside marriage, in the dark, under covers, and for babies only, not pleasure. (I'm not sure how many go that far, but worldwide, I suspect really many actually.)

Me, I tend to waver a bit back and forth, leaning to the progressive side.

Isn't it sad that sexuality is repressed to make the anti-sexual perverts more comfortable?

I just can't imagine what this conversation can ever be about ;-).

I have people that mow my lawn and I like a neatly trimmed, kind of a bare lawn looking lawn.

Most Americans these days like shaved snatch, this isn't the 1970s.

I'm kind of a screwball. I really like a totally smooth shaved one. And I really like a fully furry one. But I don't really like any of the styles in-between.

I vote for the UK version! The US version is, of course, sanitized, denatured and de-sexified to the point of boring, sell the product commercial garbage. God forbid, North Anericans, the most repressed, prudish bunch on Earth, should ever have such a "naughty" commercial on TV!!
