A new format

TTL brings out the interesting thought that what Vagabond Steve and others are doing now is really a new medium/format. It's philosophizing, like "standing on a soap box", only now the box is so big people can hear you all over the world.

And of course spirituality and consciousness can travel along any channel, even in the middle of "cold machines" like the Net and its devices, and seeping through the gaps between all the nodes of crass commercialism.

Over ten years ago I was interviewed by a magazine about Domai.com, and the lady interviewer said that she was surprised to find such warmth on such a cold medium as computers. And this was a modern young woman, not somebody who was a stranger to technology. So maybe we need to check our expectations about, well, anything.

To which, I have to say:
WOW! Who'd-a-thunk-it! Philosophizing, already! Go on now, you're just trying to bamboozle us wrinkled old folk!
I bet you think we've never heard of 'bullshit' and how it's supposed to baffle brains....but you should remember that it was our
generation who invented 'bullshit'
and got it making the grass grow greener almost everywhere but where it really counts....

Seriously - (must we be?) - here in this building we've got a resident Astrologer who sends out a weekly email summarizing his prognostications for the coming week, and he's fond of saying in those how we're all connected by our 'collective consciousness' into one huge, humungous intellect capable of all sorts of magical and wondrous things.....

Too bad this magnificent collective consciousness hasn't yet managed to end wars, pestilence, hunger, ignorance, or even the common hangnail or dandruff..... but we continue to fervently wish....and who knows? - maybe we're not burning the right kind of incense, or using the proper tones as we howl at the moon when it turns full......gotta be some reason, right???

WOW! I really really like your blog! I just decided to see if there were any other ACIM blogs out there & I found yours. And yes, pcs are the new acim teaching tool for a new generation. I'd love to see ACIM make a huge come back. Not that it wasn't always for those of us who love it, but back in the day it was quite popular. Anyhow, I have blog too here I just started a few wks ago about the same sorta stuff. We'z like kindred like-minded miracleminded souls! My link is:
http://princesssolisacimblog.blogspot.com/2010/03/my-yearlong-journey-through-course-in.html

Btw, would it be ok if I added your blog's link to my list of acim links I post on my blog? I think it's always good to help support those who have similar missions & stuff, so I started to post liknks to other acim-related things I liked out there for my readers. I hope it's ok to add yours. I've been finding sooo many acim blogs all of the sudden lately. It's like the Acim Club on blogspot. Lol. Ph speaking of which, did you know about the Miracle Cafe? It's like a myspace for acimers. I just found that & joined it today & it's kinda neat. You can make a profile & post your blogs & links &vids etc. Idk, maybe you already know about it, but the link is: http://miraclecafe.ning.com/profile/PrSolis
I think that may be to my page instead of the page to register, cuz I had it up already. But check it out if you haven't. =) Blessings to you!

maybe the main reason why it is not working for you is your own inability or denial to see it in action. Once you see and know what to expect, you'll be in for some moments of wonder.
Of course, if you focus on the ugly parts of the process, you'll see only them. Garbage in, garbage out...
