Shutter-happy

Quick note: today when I snapped the test photos for the (much-updated) mini-review below, I noticed on the way home that just this mundane little task had already made me "trigger-happy", or I guess shutter-happy. I wanted to snap more pictures.

I find this strange, and cute, and interesting... how much I love to photograph.
I have no idea why, really. In recent years I have even dreamed about it at night, long complex dreams full of cameras and subjects and light. Funny ole thing.

Does the word obsession come to mind? Maybe there's a Mental Health Disgnostic Code for this...

YES!! I COMPLETELY *get* what you mean, here! I had the same, a couple of weeks ago, chasing waves at the ocean; I was going/looking for the biggest, baddest-ass wave that I could find; one that had the biggest spray, 'cuz the wind was also part of the equation and I LOVED the spray...until I started "looking at myself" realizing that I was NEVER going to find it: each wave is as unique as a snowflake; our fingerprints; our genetic makeup: NO TWO ARE ALIKE!! So...I just needed to STOP and be HAPPY (lol! :-) with what I got!!

Well...I find it pretty "CUTE" myself and TOTALLY "get it"! :-)

"Baddest-ass" or "Bad-assest"? I think I prefer the latter. Though my reasoning tread dangerously close on prescriptive linguism.

There is an English phrase which which I believe paraphrases Tommy's loquacious term "obsessive", and that is "you need to get laid".

Alrighty, then! You say that 10 TIMES and get back to us on that one and tell us if you're still saying that, Alex! ;0)

Singular is "Bad-ass," yes? So...if I'm looking for the "BADDEST" of the "bad-asses," then...I believe I would be looking for the BADDEST-ASS (just ONE, Alex! ;0) Your term just sounds, well...ASS-BACKWARDS! ;0) lol! I rest my, um...case! lol! ;-)

Yes, the "get laid" theory is a popular one. But I know people who get laid a lot, and they don't seem the least healthier for it.
