Endings...

Arrrrgh, my two favorite TV shows (I only watch TV shows on DVD though), Sopranos and Gilmore Girls, have ended! I am mortified. I am on my knees, please, somebody make something to replace them.

BTW, I am happy to hear that my friend Susie Bright and many of her friends have given up TV like I did in 2003. It is very hard to have a TV (connection) and not have it waste your time.

It was so sad, watching the last episode of Gilmore Girls. I found the second last episode even sadder, though.. Into the breach, indeed!

But that show sucks... Shouldn't we be happy it's no longer polluting the airwaves?

Oh anonymous, we can always count on you to contribute nothing of value whatsover. Why do you think it 'sucks'?

That was my first ever comment on this blog, so I'm not sure that you can have counted on me for anything so far. It seems you fall into that category of people who think that anyone who doesn't think as you do must be stupid, and their comments worthless. Sad. The show did not always suck, but has been in decline for several years.

That was meant to be sarcasm regarding 'anonymous' as a blanket screen name and not directed at you per se. I doubt you actually use the name anonymous in other online activities. I obviously have no way of knowing whether this is your first post or your 453rd.

But you still haven't said why you thought it sucked.

Be thankful your shows last more than a season or two. Firefly only just managed one season, three comics and a film.

As for "Life on Mars", that was only on a high priced cable channel, or on import discs, so I need an "illegal" region free player which copes with Region 2.

I gave up on TV about 6 years ago. Commercial free TV shows on DVD, it's the only way to go...

I so agree with that.

My gawd, I had almost forgotten about commercials, how can anybody stand them?

The writing quality declined considerably. Obviously that kind of thing is personal opinion. The first couple of years were gold, and then it started to slip. Btw, sarcasm is kind of hard to carry off in text.

I have a hi-tech vacuum cleaner, not only does it suck, it blows too.
Um... I know how this must sound, but really, it's a very good home appliance!

it's characters are unrealistic, card-board and emotionsless, no valid scripts, too many untrained teeneboppers trying to act grown up. they should burn this worthless piece of film then bury it in the sea and let the whales devour it until they throw up.
thank god the network put it out of its misery!

Hey, now, that's really not very envonment-friendly, you know.
What did the WHALES ever do to you, hunh?

Yeah, somebody sure missed the opportunity for an intersting acting career. Such passion and wit are becoming scarce on the silver screen.
