Microstock: why would a reputable company do this to themselves?

Microstock: why would a reputable company do this to themselves?, article about the proliferation of non-exclusive-use images across the web. Apparently this bunch have many jobs.

Good 'un!

I was discussing standards with a colleague today, and asked, "Do you think X [insert name of a potential high profile investment angel who uses a high profile photographer to do her own work] would be persuaded by that über shitty Powerpoint presentation that some members of staff are showing?" The presentation source pix are photographically inferior, and only 480 pixels wide, but are being used in a digital projector throwing onto a big screen.

Never ask a question where a stupid answer can be given and defended. My colleague agrees the presentation is über shitty, but thinks it might work. Ha! It seems that one really can't fix stupid. My psychiatrist asked if I had ever considered suicide: I am just beginning to realize this was a suggestion.

So would that 'tiny-eye' application http://www.tineye.com
work for 'glamour' photographs sold and re-sold thus to appear on more than one site.........?
