Descartes on doubt

If you would be a real seeker after truth, it is necessary that at least once in your life you doubt, as far as possible, all things.
-- Rene Descartes

I strongly agree, though I would add that once won't do it by a long shot.
And also that "all things" mean all things, not just those which are supposed to be in doubt by humans.

I don't believe Descartes ever said that.

(I'm starting small.)
