Where can you photograph

A new blog for information about public places (like parks) which are, or are not, friendly to photographers.
A very good idea.
I wonder, though, if a blog format is the best for this. If it catches on it can become very big indeed, and a blog is not designed to organize a lot of information.

Could work as a place of discussion, if used in conjunction w/ a dedicated layer in Google Earth or something...

Remixing the London police's anti-photographer terrror posters.

I set up the blog and realize that it is not the best format for it. Ideally, I would have the time (and money for when it comes to hosting, bandwidth, etc.) to code up the site and a database to handle it. Who knows, maybe someday in the future...

I have not used Google Earth that much, but it does bring up some ideas I will have to think about.

Something like this would be very useful here in Montreal where Im not sure what the heck the rules are. Ive heard: you cant take pictures, you can but not of the public, you can but you need a permit, you can only take pictures of the public if its of a 'newsworthy' event. You can onlyu take pictures in certain areas... its all so confusing.
