Happy New Year

2007 was a year of great spiritual expansion for me, valuable life lessons learned, and amazing new friends gained. I wish for 2008 to be more of the same, and I hope the same for all of you. - Eolake

The same to you, Eo - and to all the other folks who might be listening. I hope you'll find the right balance between your work and your back problems.
And please do keep DOMAI healthy and running.
Over here in Germany, the new year started with plenty of fog which got even denser during the firework displays.
As to myself, I feel 2008 will revive my photographic passion, with pics showing lots of chinese faces (ie my friends) and because of my trip to the Canaries in Feb.
Take care.

Happiest of New Years to you. Thank you allowing me to start my day with a smile of contentment knowing that there is still some beauty in the world and with hope because I know there are others who appreciate it. May 2008 bring the world less ugly wars and strife and more dirty old people.

Same to you Eolake. I've pointed to your blog from mine many times because there were so many interesting things to talk about in 2007. Here's hoping that 2008 is very interesting to (in a good way).

Cheers,
Gandalfe and Suzy

Here's hoping that there will be as many things in 2008 to make me go a big rubbery one as there were in 2007.

I hope the coming year brings you happiness, health, love and growth, Eolake! Thank you for the kindness you've shown me in 2007!

Thank you very much.
Paul, how do I read your old blog without getting redirected to your new one?

Ditto.
(See? I *can* be brief. :-)

Yup.

I'm not sure how to program the old blog to have a bypass on the redirect. I'm sorry about that. Since I'm no programmer, all I could do was download a stock program to redirect traffic to my new blog and then install it.

All the articles published on the old blog have been duplicated on the new blog, however, so, you can use the search feature on the new blog to find old posts -- if that's any help.

No one's going to wish me another year chock full of rubbery ones?

We wouldn't want you all dehydrated.

Exactly my thought!

Take care of your health, venerable old friend. And go easy on them young hotties, they don't always have your stamina.

Those outside of Intensive Care tend to!

And how exactly, pray tell, do you think they ENDED UP in Intensive Care? Mr Dick is even more active than George Burns.
Perhaps this is precisely the secret behing his longevity...
(Whatever the case, I'm sure willing to take the chance and try the method!)

My year of 2007 (kind of like 2006, and definitely like the latter portion of 2005) was a "holding pattern." Nothing extremely bad has happened to me since Hurricane Katrina (August 29, 2005), but very few extremely good things have gone my way either, and mostly I'm not "free" to follow plans, hopes, or dreams, because I'm so busy fixing up or maintaining stuff (material goods; health issues; job requirements; emotional issues) that has already established itself in my life.

Dear Final,

You already know what I was about to say on you, so let's not get redundant. I'll just wish you a better 2008, so we can hopefully have a few more homeric verbal fisticuffs and enjoy the adrenalin. While it is still legal as a "matural drug".
