Campaign Against Real Life

Many of you know the famous Dove campaign. Well, here is an excellent parody of it.

I think I'm delusional, but I could be imagining it.

Good one. But really it's me that's delusional.

Yep, excellent parody. First it appears like nastiness against ugly people, and then you realize that health is beauty is health, and that if you become ugly in this manner, you only have yourself to blame. Booze and junk food? Now, THAT's nasty!

Speaking of parodies, I loved this very inventive Quasimodo version of the famous Black Eyed Peas "My Humps" video. Way more than a dumb copy/paste operation. Neato!

I haven't really bought in on the theory that the Apollo moon landing was a hoax. But take a look at this video. Watch closely towards the end of the clip. You gotta wonder. There's definitely something fishy going on.

american astronauts landed on the moon july 20th 1969. we had numerous successful flights into space, around the moon and then finally landed on it.
nothing hard to believe that. it's only about 240 thousand miles from the earth.
so are all the joyrides in the space shuttle fake too? hardly. people are always trying to refute the truth. i just ignore them.
and elvis isn't pumping gas in alabama neither.

If you click on the link TTL provided, you'll see it's a spoof. Pretty good one.

Sorry, TTL. I can't see anything fishy there. There's not even a fishing (or microphone) pole around...

"What would Holmes do?" -- (Dr Watson, during the time his friend was presumed dead, Sherlock Holmes Returns.)

"Terry and Misty"?
Does this mean you're blogging in tandem now? Hey, that'd be good news! :-)

It's a bit hard to believe that big companies and corporations genuinely "do care" about anything more than Public Relations and the money it can earn them. One example is the tobacco lobby very un-modestly financing the campaign "tobacco is whacko if you're a teen"... in the USA, while targeting these same teens in the Third-World.

Another example aims at Dove with this other brief parody. Food for thought.
