Two kinds of people

"There are two types of people in the world.
1. Those who can extrapolate from incomplete information."

-(G.K. Froehlich, quoting his daughter)

I'm adding this to my old:

"There are two kinds of people in the world, those who divide people into two kinds, and those who don't."

(It seems Robert Benchley came up with that one, in some form.)

Obviously there is supposed to be a second item on the list, but I just don't know whether the second one is...
2. Those who just pull answers outta' where the sun don't shine.
2. Those who say extrapolation is little better than guessing.
2. Those who say humankind is far too complex to model with an "X or not X" syllogism.
and I am sure there are possibilities I have not imagined.

Ol' Ben is an idiot, but then so is Eolake who thinks there's something wrong with doing that. "Can't we all just get a long?" - Eolake Stobblehouse
