HNY from Abba
"... at the end of... '89..."
Sigh. Yeah, that seemed far in the future in 1979. And yet 1979 does not seem all that far back, now thirty-four years later. Time is weird.
2013, and we're still here. (Most of us, I had a couple of friends check out last year.) Have a great one, everybody.

This is one of my all time favourite songs. I went to a memorable Abba concert in London in 1979. Agnetha is one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen.
Yes, I was certainly hot for her, and I have a vague feeling I was not alone.
Agnetha has mostly dropped out of sight, but Benny is still making music with the Benny Anderssons Orkester. There are lots of videos on YouTube, but check out the one with Helen Sjöholm "en Dag i Sänder" There are people tho enjoy their work.

Yes, Agnetha was the only one who couldn't make it when they reunited briefly in the UK some years ago.
There was an interesting bit in a documentary from back in the day. Agneta told about how the touring, crowds and fame were very wearing on her, very hard. And Bjorn was hugely surprised, he thought everybody loved all that! I guess as a couple their communication lacked a little something.
Still their daughter wasn't detered, and has her own career signing and acting.
