Fear and Loathing in the Galleries

This is funny, I just found this screenshot. It's funny not just because it's followed me through all my computers in nine years and it's fun to see the Mac OS 8 interface of the late nineties again, but also because I've just met a professional artist who sells the big majority of his art through the web.

OK, so my article is exaggerating. But I hear that's a legit way of making your point. :)

So, you think this on-line thing all the kids are talking about is going to be big, eh?

Dream on!

P.S. -- I think I like the OS 8 interface better than the OS X one. I definitely prefer the stability and smoothness of OS X, but Apple seems to forget more and more of their human interface research with each new version of OS X.

I realize the Internet may be a fad, but I got duped into investing all my money in one of those "dotcomm" businesses, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Maybe I should have gone with Enron instead.
