Once again I sigh: Apple invented the subnotebook, so why are they currently so behind in that area? Notebooks are their best selling Macs.
I want a Toshiba R500. If only it did not run, ugh, Windoze. But really, an 800 gram notebook? Kewl.

I used to think "subnotebook" meant a notebook you use in dreams to write down memories from the awaken state.
Funny this should come up. I'm desperately seeking a "subnotebook" for purchase.
I want:
1. full keyboard functionality (must attempt to type on it, before I buy). I am a touch-typist and do a lot of writing directly onto my computer.
2. compatible with a "normal" or "average" operating system. For example, Windoze XP.
3. internet browsing capacity. Gotta get my Eolake Blog! :)
4. (obviously included above) e-mail functionality.
That's it. Pretty basic.
