Cloud photos

Hordes of my fans have used all means, up to feminine wiles and bribery, trying to make me supply more cloud photos like those from last year. Well, I am always willing subject to money and sex, but art can't be rushed, and neither can the sky. Fortunately my endless afternoons on the hills paid off finally, so here they are.

By the way, here is a crop of the center of the first picture, showing the jet you can hardly see in the full picture:

I love them! :) I think I could stare at them for hours, trying to figure out which shapes the clouds are actually in. Not quite as lying in a grassy field with the smell and sun warm on you and such, but very nice. :)

At this rate, my new apartment is going to be Eolake-themed. Yours are some of hte only pictures that I want to print and hang up.

Hmm... sorry that I forgot to contribute to the convincing. :)

These look magnificient! Usable in so many different ways.

Hannah, I'm sure Eolake could be coaxed to snap a few more. ;-)

Congrats for your new pad!

Thanks, guys.

Don't worry, Hannah, the text of that post was mildly exaggerated. OK, it was lies from beginning to end. :)

"Hordes of my fans...."
E, really!

Eolake Stobblehouse said...

Hmhrh, just because *your* fans come merely in crowds!...

I'll have sex with you if you stop this rubbish

Eolake Stobblehouse said...

A very kind offer, but I'll have to see a nude photo first.

Picky, picky, Eolake! I thought beauty was only skin deep? :)

ha ha, this thread WAS about clouds.... how'd it get onto sex?
Pass the popcorn . . . . :)

It seems no matter my best intentions, we always end up with sex or religion.

Eolake Stobblehouse said...

But seriously, this was just what I needed for my 30-inch screen, the first picture in high rez looks awesome on that.

In the cloud photos of yours that I have seen you have a knack for catching light and color in an uplifting way. In some I get a sense of "tomorrow."
GregO
p.s. How do I get my photo to show, like yours and Laurie's? I need to meet women!

Anonymous said...

Gee, Eolake it sounds that hordes of your admirers have their heads in the clouds . . . or somewhere else!

I thought only rock stars and perhaps famous artists of old could claim hordes of fans. Hmmm.

Eolake Stobblehouse said...

Gregory, you need to have a blogger account, and to upload a photo to it.

Leigh, don't underestimate my fans, they have the best taste in the world.

Christian fundamentalists seem to gravitate to wherever there's pr0n (especially gay pr0n) or violence (war).

Now, your blog proves that the mechanism is even more subtle than previously thought. A mere indirect link to nudity, as in the curator of a simple nudes website, is all it takes.

I come from the world of programming (= geeks) where this phenomenon is generally nonexistent. That's why I am quite surprised by this.

laurie said...

ttl, very interesting observation.
Makes sense.

Hannah said...

I don't see no p0rn here...

Eolake Stobblehouse said...

Are you sure? Look closely at the first picture...

Just joshing...
And yet, that joke might illustrate how porn is in the eye of the beholder.

laurie said...

Is "purn" another term for "porn"?

Maybe "purn" is soft, fluffy porn, like a furry muffet, or a purring pussy.

yeah, I don't see porn in Domai either . . . . maybe a little purn. Maybe to fundamentalists, purn is not a sin, only porn.

Hannah, here's a creative suggestion : these desktop images one usually puts as wallpaper on a desktop? Put them as wallpaper! On your walls.
Okay, so it'll probably cost you a small fortune in printer ink to blow them up. ;-)
Maybe even your bank account will blow up?

Hey, where are the politics bunch on this thread? The trilogy's incomplete!
"And one forum to rule them all."
What, nobody's got enough imagination to be reminded of Bush or Iraq with this? "My preciousss politicsss!..."

"Leigh, don't underestimate my fans, they have the best taste in the world."
You'll have to be more explicit : what kind of taste? Chicken? Hazelnut? Chocolate? Duck à l'orange? Wabbit seasoning?...

Perhaps. But do YOU have what it takes? I bet deep down you're just jealous! ;-)

... Naah! Not gonna take the bait on that last word! :-)
After all, I'm too nice and loving to make raunchy puns.
"I'm a hunka-hunka-purnin' love..."

Yes, they all taste like chicken.

I know I'll run out if I keep eating them this fast, but I can't help myself.

Pascal, I have a lot to say about Bush & thugs but Eolake mentioned somewhere he was sick of hearing about the war and bush if I remember right?
Trust me, I have much, much, to say about this sociopath. I know I mispelled sociopath but you get my point lol. At least I think I mispelled it?
If Eolake doesn't mind I'll comment about this bully all day ;)

Answer this honestly and not with a glib quip to try and make yourself look good on your own blog.
Spiritual souls are without a sense of self. Another word for this is ego.
You say you are a spiritual being.
This post says otherwise. If there is a sprit writing this blog or just an ego, the hive mind that wrote this wants to know.

Eolake Stobblehouse said...

Peter,
Your post does not contain a question. A question has a question mark and an upwards inflection at the end. :)

It's a joke, of course. Nobody writes "hordes of fans" seriously. Come on.

laurie said...

"clouds are like beautiful women, you never can get bored watching them" Thank you Paul,
I think you have a beautiful mind.

Eolake, nuttin wrong with an ego if'n it's used for the good, like all things. But I'm preaching to the choir with that one. Besides, Your friends Laurie Jeffery and Jade will keep you regular-folk :)

Pascal, I couldn't help myself.

Bad news, Terry:
You mis-spelled "mispel", not "sociopath". :-)
Self-derision, dude: I was mocking at myself first. It very pleasantly helps the digestion. (Medical fact.)

Paul,
That was beautiully said, man. You don't comment much, but when you do it's always very good.
Quality over quantity, eh? :-)
A pity I don't have your willpower! :-D

Laurie,
If you couldn't help yourself, there are trained professionals that can give you a hand.
Unfortunately for you, it's quite clear that I don't know any myself, or I wouldn't be unleashed on this poor unsuspecting world. You're on your own, girl.

Hey, Dexter, what does this red button do? Ooh, pretty cloud! Looks like a biiiiig shiny mushroom. Um... oopsie?

I will. But in my heart I can't let go of the thousands who have perished.

laurie said...

the thousands who have perished are looking at us now, at peace saying "please let it gooooooooo".

if we hold onto the tiniest thread of anger, revenge, guilt, fear, rage, or righteousness, the true righteousness, which some call the Holy Spirit, can't do his work of transforming our vision and transforming our world through pure loving action. But Terry, my sense from your other posts is that you're already living this.

Pascal, you crack me up.

Eolake, isn't it amazing what comes through clouds?

Said the nut to the crackpot? ;-)
One french word for loonie is "marteau" (mah-r'to). Litterally, a hammer.
Maybe this is why I'm often told I have a hard head...
Oh, well, it's better than getting nailed for having a screw loose, I guess. At least, you all saw there's no vice in me. I'm just a ratchet soul with a beaming smile. You can axe anybody!
