Net TV?

This sounds too good to be true. Thousands of (HD?) channels for a one time payment of fifty dollars? What's the catch? Is it licensed content? (if not, it may not last.)

A good rule of thumb is, "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably ls."

I did a Google search for the site name and "fraud," and many posts titled as if they're asking whether it's a fraud or a scam are just promos for the site. Dishonest promotion -- particularly when it attempts to mask legitimate reviews -- doesn't inspire confidence in me.

Nope, and neither does the tactic of "70% off!", it's BS.

Yes, except that sometimes it isn't. Spotify, for example, is just such a thing, and it is still going strong.

Eolake,

It 'offers' 548 channels from the UK alone: how many can YOU count - then, go figure..........

Yes, and over 200 from Denmark. I'm pretty sure there are less than ten.

Also, the one-time payment is odd. They would earn much more with a subscription. So I'm suspecting they don't expect to be around long.
(I'm still not sure though.)

Well, you could afford to try it out, Eolake.......and then tell the remainder of us "how was it for you". Just a 'public service' for your correspondents - 'do it and review it', perhaps.

But do watch out for all the shopping channels: you may find one devoted to Cameras, and bankrupt yourself in one hour !!
