The pic above was with the Canon S90, the one below with the Lumix GF1. Top one at ISO 800 and cropped a little more. Bottom one at ISO 400. It seems the Canon has the color of JPG files amped a bit more, which is common for compacts, to please their normal buyers.

The Lumix pic looks nicer, but for all I know, it could be entirely due to the boosted saturation on the top one.
Most of the time, I can't tell any difference when looking at comparison pics on DPReview or elsewhere. I just wonder what the liquor tastes like, and if those crayons are any good.
