I've been driving around with Strange Angles in the car for the last couple of weeks.

I guess the first I heard by LA was when she did guest vocals on Jean Michel Jarres Zoolook, I believe it was the track "Zoolokologie". A college friend recommended her, but after hearing Superman on Top of the Pops I was left with a skewed perspective.

When I met my DW she had Mister Heartbreak, a great album, with Peter Gabriel on guest vocals on "Excellent Birds", a song that appears on one of his albums as well. It was the lyrics to Sharkeys Day and Sharkeys night that caught my interest.

It was a while before I got Bright Red which again is a great album, then a few years later I got Life on a String - excellent cello, and Strange Angels. Since I seem to like her late 80's mid 90's stuff best what should I try next?

Some of my favourite lyrics...

Here's Language is a Virus (YouTube).

Greately enjoyed her film Home of the Brave, but sadly it is not (yet?) available on DVD.

Strange Angels is by far my favorite. Many wonderful melodies on that one.
