A few years ago, TTL pointed me to Harry Browne, mentioned in that article. And today he mentioned Jim Rogers. I've only taken a quick look, but it looks interesting.
Reading Jim Roger's two books (1. Travelling the world on a motorbike, 2. Dito with A yellow Daimler, and more) is really worthwhile. He gives insights into capitalism, the different states which he visited, and so on. I bought all his books. He also runs a website.
