Shell Game: An Art Show About the Financial Meltdown

Kickstarter rocks.
It's interesting to me how female fine arts painters are very often quite beautiful.

Crack me up: "$40,925 of pledged $30,000 goal" w/18 days to go and...it only took 352 people to get there! :-D

I liked the shot where she is laying under the entire mural; that's some mural!

Yes. Though it is quite different from art I'm normally into, it really is quite good and cool art.

I can easily see her becoming rich and famous from it, which I guess is an interesting experience for a populist activator!

Yes...me, too!

I agree! Took her 100 hours! That's a bit of an investment of time, in itself! And...I was reading a comment where someone wanted her to make another one for them...with a different medium! That's where I couldn't STAND to be an artist; I'd wanna move onto an entirely NEW picture! I couldn't do the same thing twice! UGH! (My imagined reply: "Dude: here's an idea: why not just take a nice picture of it and PHOTOSHOP the heck out of it to get the texture "look" that you're after w/this different medium!" :-D

Yeah! Should be quite interesting to see where's she's at, in 18 days! I thought that, when peeps saw the goal amount, and it was above same, that they wouldn't donate but...that is entirely not so; there were GOBS of "successfully" funded projects that were in the thousands' percentage of the goal amount having been met! SURPRISING! And...it does look like a COOL place to go! Perhaps a nice way to get a book (or any other project, say) you really want to have properly marketed but are working on a shoestring! :-/
