Oddity in blog archives

I'm just noticing that a week or two or more is missing (from the beginning of the month) from most of the monthly archives on this blog! That's not on. Anybody know why or what to do?

Thanks to Philocalist and Bron. Changing to weekly archives solved it. It seems to be a matter of how much text Blogger is able to show on a single page.

Knowing naff-all about this blogging lark, si this is just a thought from a layman ... does it occur excusively in months that have had a particularly large number of blogs and or comments, i.e. are you restricted by size or number in some fashion, by the 'rules of the blog' ... exceed it and you lose the oldest enties or somesuch?

Only issue is that it seems all my old archives on my own machine are incomplete! Damn. All that work to save them again.

Suggesting -to Josie's great pleasure, no doubt!- that indeed you tend to write a lot. ;-)

BTW, my own blog tells me [every time I upload a picture] how much space I'm still entitled to. I'm amazed that one as big as yours still hasn't gone over-quota!
If I were you, I'd check my oldest archives and back them all up.
