Closely conjoined twins

Wow, this is incredible, I actually didn't think it was possible, but it seems it's real.
The girls have two heads and two spines, but everything else is shared. They each control and feel one side of the body.
They are nineteen now.
They intend to have normal romantic lives, but how the heck do you handle that? What if one falls in love with a guy the other one can't stand?
They both really dislike being stared at, but if anything is a challenge to that, this may be it, how do you manage to not stare, it so extremely extraordinary.

I've just realized what's so remarkable: they defy the definition of "individual"... you can't divide them without killing them, and yet they are two people!

Your article is giving me a lot of stuff to consider...
Anyway, or anyhoo: they see their life as normal (even English grammar doesn't work here); which is correct. Assume a world where everyone's got two heads (Yin Yang or so). And then appears an individual with just one head.

So many thoughts, so many questions. But highest respect for the girl(s) from here. Chinese would be more appropriate in this case for it's lack of a distinction between singular and plural form...

Thanks for sharing.

Exactly. That's what I thought was so WILD about them! They have to have *the best* of synergy figured out between them and, yet, they both are so individual...just like any other two siblings. A whole new meaning to *close* sisters! :-)

And, no, I'm trying NOT to go to the *romance dept*, etc. There just ain't going to be nothing *normal* about it! The scenario would have to possibly involve: a guy's revised 2-girl fantasy; or 2 very *open-minded* men (lol!); or...the probably rarer-beyond-belief option: a match of having the same of a set of twin guys and...then they'd doggone better like the chick on the same side as them or...they'll ALL be in a real bee's nest! lol! oh boy!

Very interesting, though. :-)

Anon...if you stop long enough (from laughing) to notice: I bet you already DO have 2 dicks: the one you're holding and...your head; they're probably both about the same size!

Stop being an asshole!

Jan, that's a funny drawing (I'm sure many would consider it offensive). And surprisingly beautiful, technically. Do you know who drew it?

Clever! Or not. Keep trying tc you moron.

Firstly, Anon, there's no point for your wish. The Wikipedia article clearly states they have a single set of genital organs. And I'm ready to bet their orgasms would be simultaneous, because it's a neurovegetative reflex originating in the nether parts of the spinal chord. Hmm... sounds interesting, come to think of it.
Then again, they'd have to get a special exemption from bigamy laws. Clearly.

"Assume a world where everyone's got two heads (Yin Yang or so)."
Miss Polly-Esther from the Fat Dog Mendoza cartoon series?...

Of course they see their life as normal. They've never known anything else, one can't have anything more mormal than their own bodies (even more so if the body is healthy), and "normal" is what you get used to when you grow up.
To me, the orderly West with no war or anarchy feels weird, almost abnormal compared to Lebanon. When I travel, I feel as if on another planet. Most every detail of daily life is different.

"But highest respect for the girl(s) from here. Chinese would be more appropriate in this case"
Fret not and use plural. :-)
It'll be far better accepted that that lame joke of saying "they" about a very busty girl, won't it?

I still feel like that normality isn't as certain as they claim. They're uneasy about how to handle or even view the very clear specificities of their life. Publicize? Hide? Be on TV? Resent staring? What to make of the many different kinds of staring there is, between admiration and insulting looks, with all the spectrum inbetween?
Like it or not, they ARE very special. They need to come to terms with that and resolve these issues or they'll live unhappy.

And yes, Jan, you make a good point: LOTS of intimate details spring to mind, some of which HAD to be addressed, some of which might get skirted but by leaving the problem hanging. For one, washing. And the more "unmentionable" stuff, which is bound to come up.
Then again, I think Eolake's worries are unsubstantiated: in ordinary twins, and how much more in THIS case, there often is a very deep mutual understanding. Only a very clumsy BF would mess it up.
Alas, the girls must be aware by now that they'll far easier meet guys attracted by "the freak side" than one who's got the very open mind to date one body and two persons, and handle that, and genuinely seek what any normal romantic relationship should seek. In other words, a guy with genuine, deep, intrinsic human respect.

If I knew them in real life, I suppose I'd probably try dating them. And not out of charity, too. But going all the way to Minnesota for that would be too much. I mean, I know how *I* would feel, as soon as an encounter didn't START normally. Worried. More than with anybody else, such an encounter (a date) should happen normally. Because let's be honest, they have to expect they'll attract many sickoes.

"a guy's revised 2-girl fantasy; or 2 very *open-minded* men"
Ah, yes, there's also that option. Would you date/marry one body, two inseparabple persons, or just ONE of them which you like (dragging the bored other along)?
But when it comes to sex, which ARE you having sex with? Automatically, and at least in part, with both.
I was always puzzled when I thought of the Siamese Sisters in (Barnum's?) circus, after I read that one of them got married. I mean, sure, maybe the other didn't fall in love with the guy, but... how do you get naked and intimate in such a situation? Might have been very awkward. Or maybe it wasn't. I sure enough wasn't there to know how exactly they handled that situation.

"that's a funny drawing [...] And surprisingly beautiful"
Same here. Racy, but poetic, and even touching. (Damn hot, though. Brings on another perspective on ménage à trois. Ménage à 2½???)

TC,
Good one.
And well said, from a fellow woman.
(Fellow sister to A&B, I meant.)

Large trademarked post from the Doctor coming soon.

On a religious/philosphical note, I'd say this originality of Nature is God's way of telling the lawmaking sexual prudes not to be such smart-asses. :-)

"In the land of the one-headed people, the two-headed girl is queen."

Yes, I was just about to say it: there's no getting around that you make love to both of them when you make love to one. So I can't imagine more than one boyfriend would work, and the bigamist laws can go hang themselves.

"Firstly, Anon, there's no point for your wish."

Um...Pascal...I'm sorry to be the one to actually have to uh...point this one out ('cuz I, originally, *went there* on that one, too, and...remembered same of the *plumbing*) but...I am willing to guess that this Anon was thinking of uh...a double/similtaneous BJ fantasy. :-) I'm not sure we could get Anon to confirm this...without a shitload of *nasty* along with it so...I'm just going to guess that it is, without directly asking. Not sure how many...uh...*persons* I would be talking to; d'ya know what I mean, Pascal? ;-)

"To me, the orderly West with no war or anarchy feels weird, almost abnormal compared to Lebanon. When I travel, I feel as if on another planet. Most every detail of daily life is different."

The *wars* and anarchy are out there, Pascal; they are just in smaller clusters than what you experience in your, and neighboring,
countr[y]/ies. *Our* (USA) "wars and anarchy" are mainly caused by irresponsible people who don't know how to manage their lives with what little they accomplish in them. They *play* *Urban Cowboys and Indians* in the streets 'cuz of *important* issues such fighting to try to maintain their *earthly* possessions: cars; drugs; women; or...simply something as *important* as what corner they claim to be *theirs* using their *sick* weapons and displaying their *turf colors*, in the form of a scarf. I wonder if there are ever any *cease war* waves of those scarves; hardly think so; it seems to be more *fun* for them to continue in this childish *game*...costing taxpayers millions in the *childcare* of it all and the lost lives of many innocent people who live around -- and with -- them; much, sadly, like larger-scale wars: nations who are too prideful and ignorant to sit down and come to compromises to their causes where a nation is either criticized for ignoring the dispute or...blamed for the *carnage* of getting involved. :-(

Uh...and then there are the citizens whose odd behaviors have been ignored for years and then they finally lash out in a blaze of gunfire mostly directed at the people that have caused their *angst*. That's when everyone asked starts to acknowledge that there were a few screws loose, to begin with, with the person! Yes...LOTS of *abnormalties* here but...people don't see *the elephant in the room*; *the forest for the trees*...until it affects them, directly, sadly. And...that's *supposed* to be all of us respecting each others' *freedoms*. Many of these people have been raised to believe that they are *entitled* to things that most of us work our whole lives trying to get. I've lived in places where I would rather have considered living in a place like Singapore. ;-)

"TC,
Good one.
And well said, from a fellow woman.
(Fellow sister to A&B, I meant.)"

Thanks, Pascal. A great compliment coming from you, oh Great *Jester Master* ;-) I am most honored by your acknowledgement of my attempt! lol! I venture to guess that our environments have caused our minds to *go there* to *humor* (yes...dropping the *u* again; several times already, in fact, in this post, as I am sure you have noticed; I'm in America! ;-) ourselves in our dismal circumstances through dark periods in this life. It makes for a much more tolerable existence, I believe. :-)

I don't see what's so offensive about calling them "Siamese twins". Conjoined? Very PC, Eolake.

Ah, I didn't realize that was the PC term. I'll have to start using another one.
