Protein shake

I've been buying some protein powder for a while. It's the only one I like. I can only get from the US (or Canada, actually), because food supplements are so heavily regulated it has not been exported yet and may never be. For the same reason the seller can't ship to me, so I've had a friend buy it and ship it to me.
The problem is that apparently UPS is getting more and more paranoid, and if we are to ship this perfectly innocent dietary supplement for personal use, now my friend has to fill out totally ridiculous forms for commercial shipping, with hundreds of nitty gritty details. And they may not even allow it anyway.
It seems the post office is similar in this respect.
This is such a silly problem. Any ideas how to handle this in an easy way?

That would normally be a good idea, but I want Pure Trim from AwarenessLife, it's the only one I like.

It burns my ass that with all the problems to be handled in the world, so many resources are focused on "protecting" me from perhaps taking a food supplement which is approved in the US and Canada, but not in the UK.

It's not about protecting you, it's about protecting the pharmaceutical industry against "alternative" health products which might erode their profits.

See? You're having end digestive tract side-effects already! This stuff is clearly unsafe, and SHOULD be unapproved.

Did you know that the trolls of planet Troy use a fully natural, very safe mineral supplement? Chewed granite. (Yes, they do have good teeth, how'd you guess?) Stuff's great for flossing the bits of human meat and bone from between their 36 canines, and does an amazing job at cleansing their bowels. But it burns their ass too.
If you notice a tree in the Troyan forests with a big clear hole at the bottom of its trunk, chances are a troll farted nearby.

Talk about a nutritional supplement eroding someone's sensitive assets!
