Why "rapsong"?

Not rapsody? :)

I love spring! About what time of day did you take the first pic, Eo? I like the lighting of that one, the best. :-)

Thanks for sharing...

I think it's Eo being silly w/his word play. :-)

I'm always amazed at the level of your genius. A photograph of a green dumpster! Well done! What will you think of next?

I'm trying to find a blue one next.

TC guessed it.

They were all taken in the middle of the day.

I had a "green day," right after yours; forgot to post them for you, before now. :-) (I didn't have any sun to work with, that day, like you did, though.)

That is nice.

A trick to get deeper colors in dull weather is to use a polarization filter to remove the reflections of the sky. They are not so cheap though, and they steal about two stops of light, so in dull conditions it may get hard to get desired aperture and shutter speed.
I think a "circular" one is the one to get. Seems also to be virtually all there is these days. (It just means it does not mess up the exposure meter.)

Funny. I had completely forgotten about that!

So...funny...I started researching all that and came to remember my "sun filter." Turns out I, already, have this one. Incredible! Look how much I saved myself by buying the other!

Now...just to remember to USE IT, if and whenever there is a "next time!" :-/

Thanks for the reminder; I appreciate it! :-)

Good picture

Thanks. Are you referring to the first pic looking up @ the leaves? (I just showed the entire set. Looked like you were trying to refer to that particular jpeg. reference. :-)

Yes, the first pic.

Man, I had no idea you could get a polarization filter this cheap now! Eleven bucks, that's ridiculous, many people pay over a hunnert. I dunno if there's a quality difference, well there surely is, but probably not one which matters to most people.

Yes...I was quite surprised to realize how big of a gap in pricing there was in those two filters! I'm trying to remember when I bought it! I think I bought it after our discussion re: the blue on the leaves at the other big fall; do you remember that one?

Probably.
