I'm not an expert, but based on my limited knowledge, I think this is a pure Polynesian dance. The drum sounds and rhythms are very different from the Hawaii'an ancient (Kahiko) hula, as are the emphasis on fast hip movement and limited movement of the dancers' upper bodies.
Can anyone else clarify this?
I should mention that I really enjoy both, and I liked this one.

Pat's comment is probably correct. The affair was a joint Hawaiian-Polynesian festival. My wife attended the festival and recognized the YouTube clip.
Less intellectually - a friend used to say of dances like this 'I wish I had a swing like that in my back yard'
