Very cool. Zoom. Image Stabilization. Auto-focus. Still- and video-recording, including 3D.
The only thing which makes me doubtful is that they have electronic "viewfinders" instead of a direct optical view. EVFs are much better than they used to, but I have not seen one which came close to the quality of a direct optical view.

I agree that direct optical view is better in general, but these are small lenses. I imagine a direct view at 10x magnification would be quite dark. Obviously it could be redesigned with larger lenses but then it would be bulkier and heavier.
I wish I had all this...in a set of night vision glasses for shooting owls! :-D

TCG, I doubt they can shoot owls at night, even when they sit still. The sensitivity of digital cameras have risen steadily, but dead night is still a problem.
I wonder if there is anything in any of this that would work. I see "thermal." Ah, well...not in the market for one, right now, anyway. Would just be cool to try, someday. :-)
Very interesting product. But I wonder why they left infrared capability out from a product of this price?
Or did they? I don't see any mention.
