What is a Vook?

What is a Vook?

To be honest, I'm not really sure that I want to "blend a book, video, and connecting to my friends" into one soup... Wouldn't that be like making a bicycle that's also a tent and a power drill?

But it might well work well for some things.
Here is an example. This one is just a promotional item though, designed to make you buy the guy's book.

"The problem with traditional books is that they only involve reading, and if you're lucky, looking at pictures. That's not productive, and it's boring. In today's fast-paced society, who has time to stop Twittering and friending each other to simply read? If you're like me, you appreciate and embrace all the wonderful distractions of the 21st century. That's why I developed the 'Vook' — it's like watching a movie, surfing the internet, and even reading, all at the same time. Vook. It's a lot easier than using your imagination."

Ugh. I actually have a bigger problem with the dumb name they gave it.

You're not wrong. The phrase "It's a lot easier than using your imagination," is so dumb one can't believe they said it.

This dude might be a psychopath. They get bored very easily.

I'm thinking if this is the future - where you are never really alone and never have any real privacy - I'd better start looking into caves and learn to become a mountain man.

If they start using that phrase, I'll sue!

Well, it's short and to the point, and maybe they'll cut you in on the loot. I think they should use it. "It's a lot easier than pussyfooting around it".
