An ark has been built

An ark has been built in Holland, virtually single-handed by one believer.
I wonder if somebody has calculated how much space it would actually take to transport a couple from every species on the Earth, plus food and supplies and a competent crew to keep them sound, but one thing is for sure: this guy is not afraid of a little labor!

I have often wondered the same...as well as be able to just look at the size of an Arc and...now, a person can! COOL! :-)

Unless it's like the TARDIS, good luck getting two of every single species inside.

I find this story kind of depressing, actually. I'd expect this from my fellow Americans, but I thought Europeans were a bit saner when it comes to religion. It's really kind of sad.

Imagine what this guy could have achieved if he'd put all this effort and money into something worthwhile.

If I remember right, Noah was given the specs and then told to load all the creatures. Since "God" said so, it had to work out. I do not think we could duplicate that with science.
Disclaimer:
This is not to create a religious argument. I am just suggesting we have no way to duplicate some of the events recorded in the "Good Book".

Noah would still have built it. I'd have to check the Good Book but I'm pretty sure God didn't help him.

Someone who goes to the trouble and expense of building an Ark is probably an expert at self-delusion and impervious to any logic. There's no point in saying anything to him.
