If you're looking for good apps for your iPad, of if you don't have an iPad and you wonder what the heck one can do with it (surprising amounts), then this is a good list of paid apps. Many of the apps (My Writing Nook, GoodReader, and Instapaper for example) I can vouch for myself, and others I will try out. There is a similar list for free apps here.

It turns out that if you're on the beach or a boat or in a steamy kitchen, you can protect the 'pad with a simple sandwich bag, and the touchscreen still works.

Or in a tub?! :-D (it's nice to be able to read while soaking!)
Mmm, in a tub I'd use a good strong bag and some extra tape fer sure.
Perhaps just double-bagging in [ironically, the inverse of this picture] Ziploc gallon bags; ooooh or...better yet, 'Food Saver' if a person has one. Could make it a nice, smoothe surface to touch, rather than the other bag(s) flopping around everywhere. (wonder if FoodSaver wants help promoting it in such a fashion! I wouldn't mind! :-)

Damn! Now I've got mayo all over the screen.
PS: Never thought to abbreviate iPad to 'pad to save a whole downstroke!

FUNNY YOU! :-D
I'm hoping that " 'pad" will become a thing.
Great thing it has those two vacuum tubes to add warmth to the sound. So it's not all digital.
[That was a joke, Josie.]
Just in case Josie is remiss:
Well, you only believe that because you're an idiot!
People in your country wouldn't know good music from a sick dog barking!
You moron.
[Note: satiric comment, not meant seriously.]
