Running on water

[Thanks to Joe]
Running on water, video.
Must be fake. Unless you can bend the laws of physics with your mind, it can't be done.
I think they have a long constructed path just under the water. It's quite clever of them to have everybody eventually sink down, it surely will make it more believable for many.

If I had a working scanner, I'd share with you several pre-digital era photos where I walk and stand on water. Obviously thanks to some mystic trance.

Scientists have calculated that a human COULD actually run on water, like that amazing lizard we've all seen. All it would require, would be to maintain a speed of 126Km/h or above.
Pity that we don't seem capable of going more than 43Km/h... Like they say these days: "FAIL!"

Another option is to hire a Jewish swimming coach.

This is just virus advertising of the shoes. 126km/h is enough to keep up but is not enough to self-propel. Self-propelling in the scale of a human is impossible according to sci.

Haaaa!
I know how this is done!
Hate to break the bubble, but we used to do this when I was 15 or 16 years old ... well over 30 years ago! :-)
Unfortunately at the time, we had no way to record it :-(

I'd tell you how it's done ... but that would spoil the fun!

Virus advertising, of course.

Philocalist, I think we've had about all the fun out of this one we can get, so how about telling us?

Eolake, check out the old Peter Sellers movie 'Being There'. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0078841/

Ah go on then:-)
I'm not 100% sure of the ways that these guys did it, but I'm reasonably confident that it's the same ruse, just with much better production values, and quite a lot of verbal obfuscation to distract, in the same way that a magician might use sleight-of-hand or movement to distract his audience.

Many years ago, a large lake was created locally by flooding a dip in the landscape, which had contained very typical farmers fields previously.
As the waters flooded in and gradually rose, ground and building were submerged ... as were walls and fences as the water rose up the sides of the adjacent hills.
Time it right, and the (dry-stone) walls or fences were inches below the surface ....... :-)
Watch his leg movements carefully: as his feet go downwards, they DO appear to hit something a lot more solid than water!

Have to give them credit though, VERY well done, great editing (and no doubt patience!) to get it right :-)

Yeah, why pay a lot for super digital effects when you can just immerse a wall? with the right angle and/or choice of material color, it'll be invisible.
