I actually knew already, but it did surprise me when I found out. He has another daughter who plays the same instrument he plays, and seems to me to play it very well.

Gee, hate to give the mystery away, but there's a YouTube clip with both daughters here, and the other daughter has her own site, too.
I first saw her on the excellent Concert for George DVD.
