Finnish business presentation

Finnish business presentation. This is why Europe will soar ahead of the US in the near decades.

Eo, this was recorded in the US, yes, with their feet and inches. Europe uses beamers.
I know I'm mean.
And I have american friends. Sorry, forgive me. Obama and his wife could be our chance. I'm hopeful. What else.

Right you are, Mr. Beep.

You understood that?

Sorry, MB, I didn't understand your post. Inches? Beamers?

You understood that?

Of course. Feet and inches are decadent archaisms, and beamers are the omnipresent computer projectors in European conference rooms (usually two or three in a room). Perfectly clear, no?

Apart from the fact that I only heard "beamer" used about a BMW car, which is now cleared up, it confuses me that there *is* one used in the video, so how does that prove it's not filmed in Europe?

Also, I don't hear feet and inches mentioned in the video...

Lol, guys, have I been overstretching my ironic treat?

Of course the footage might have been recorded in a European country, and the device where you put those transparencies on and of which I've even forgotten the english term are really out of time and date nowadays.

I just don't get it why a model country like the US never really switches over to the scientific measurements system. Well, at least they now show both systems in their publications, which is even more confusing.

And my hope goes with Obama's wife who one night (or at breakfast) might insinuate to her husband, whispering softly, "C'mon darling, let's throw all this ancient stuff overboard and show our fellow countries what we really are: a wonderful modern country, showing the world how to tackle the problems to lead the planet into a prosperous and healthy future..."

This has been way too much off-topic again, sorry guys.

Actually, they originally planned to use a slide projector.

In this clip, which is the previous one in the series, the guys are preparing for the "Vision 2001" seminar to be held in one week's time. With international guests and everything, they don't want any glitches to happen.

As they are going through the slides and discussing which ones to use, one slide appears to be upside down. Mr. Majaniemi goes to adjust the slide and once again demonstrates his trademark "flair" in operating presentation equipment (this time a slide projector).

In the end they decide not to use a slide projector (expressing concerns that their collection of slides isn't "fresh" enough), and plan to go with the overhead projector instead.

Ah yes: OVAHEAD projector was its name, what a funny ancient thing.
