The birches in the top photo remind me of the woods near home many, many years ago, in northern Ontario, Canada.

Birch bark was once used for making
the covering on native Indian canoes
here in North America, before they discovered aluminum.

They are so beautiful,like in an enchanted forest,I can smell their perfume,I love the trees so much,they are the single living beings who are not causing any harm to no one giving only love and peace,this pictures are a blessing for my soul,thanks so much dear Eolake.
