"Diana" sculpture

Got $28,000 burning a hole in your pocket?* Got a dear friend who has a life-sized bronze nude on his Christmas wish list? You're in luck! You won't find any better than this, seriously. But you gotta hurry, deadline is Dec 15!

* Actually, the Diana sculpture is 40% off this week for Domai visitors. (Or visitors from this blog, I'm sure.)

Sure, these are not knick-knacks and as such rather luxury items, but actually Victor and I have sold several large sculptures before, and many small ones.

Well, my equity in my homes are about ten grand but I'm shy 18 thousand. Perhaps I'll run fifty thousand mini-auctions on ebay and get her. (Smiles)
I did say how stunning she was didn't I? (Okay, forgive me, I couldn't help myself.) Honestly, it's a masterpiece really.
It's a creation of pure beauty and inspiration. (Darn, I shouldn't have spent my last five thousand on that motorcycle that is sitting idle in my garage and it's not half as gorgeous as the bronze lady!)
Ok Pascal, you can call in your staff to sedate me now lol. Make sure the restraints on my straight jacket aren't too tight, I get grumpy when that happens :)

Terry,
I hope the silk is to your convenience? We were out of cashmere jackets. :-)

It's a real shame, indeed, that Victor's venture is coming to an end. Waaay out of my league, but I liked to dream on these photos.
What happened, anyway? Why pull the plug?

Victor has promised to tell me more about why he stops the nudes (large ones anyway), but one reason is that they may hurt other parts of his sculpture business, which has big corporate clients.
(I've urged him to reconsider, of course.)

So much for creative freedom... :-(

The sculpture looks beautiful. Her facial features remind me of Scarlett Johansson.

This photo, though, looks like a composite. I.e. fake.

Thank you my friend. And I do mean, "My friend." I always look forward to reading your thoughts and ideas.

The photo *is* a composite, but not a fake, just an illustration.

Tell you what Terry, if I win the Euromillions draw this Friday, one of those scultures will be my gift to you. (Wonko said)

Thank you. I'd gladly accept it! I also agree with you on your post. America has some strange issues about nudity. (I know, I live here.)
But the statue is BEAUTIFUL and I simply love it.

"I don't have a problem with porn per se, it's just that most of it is badly done."

Yep. Feels like it wasn't this way in my early twenties.
Eolake found an extremely interesting link studying this issue...

Terry, if you love the statue I love too, we'll have to settle this in a duel. Try to murder each other on a grassy field like civilized gentlemen, even if the dame doesn't care. ;-)
