Thanks! Just watched this. Very funny stuff! Loved the sticky on the forehead, for starters! How often I could see that being played out at receptionist desks, the world over, of doctors' and corporate offices...until some "smartypants" invented these. Then, you have peeps standing around, with skewed faces, trying to figure out what the heck those are! lol!

(surprisingly, our library has the entire series! Go figure! I'm impressed!)

Good for you!!
I suppose because it's British, it's "culture" even though it's a sitcom!

The link you gave to BB only works in the US it seems.

It was the first of 3 parts of the first episode...of the first season...if you have it to refer to. Funny! :-D

Gotta tell you: am watching the first season, tonight, and all 3 characters are a HOOT! I really like all of them and their funny oddities about them. Fran is too funny. The date was HILARIOUS!

Is it me or... From the first time that I watched Dylan, d'ya know who he reminds me of? Dear old (and deceased! Boo hoo! I really miss him!) Dudley Moore! They seem to have exactly the same mannerisms around being a drunk. I wonder if that is who Dylan "studied under."

Thanks for the recommendation...even though I have to keep the chuckles down; my back is still spasming! Ouch!

Get well.

Doubtlessly Moran has been influenced by Moore.

Glad you like it. I think Tamsin Greig has the funniest part here, ever, and at her most attractive.

Though one must strongly recommend Green Wing, where she was good also.

Thank you. Getting there! It's taken 3 consecutive chiropractor appointments, this week, alone, to finally get where I am, today. At least I'm able to stand upright, again! I couldn't say that, a couple of days, earlier, this week! NEVER messed it up this badly before! :-/

Sure feels like it. He's "cute!" (as in "funny/cute" like Dudley was. :-)

Yeah...she's definitely a hoot! And...after I've seen all three seasons, I'll see if I can find the 'Green Wing.' :-) (funny...I had just gotten on here, myself! :-)
