RIP Lin Baden

Hurrah, the enemy is dead. I guess our problems are over. Yes? Yes? Surely?

We still had problems after they captured Hussein, so that obviously had to be Laden's fault. So *now* everything will be all right. And to think some people say war doesn't solve anything.

If there still turn out to be any problems now, all we have to do is find the Bad Guy somewhere in the world, and wage war against that country for years until we kill him. And so on. It can't fail, there can only be, what, 200 countries in the world...

I doubt anyone expects it to change anything, but we're all glad he's dead. I'd have preferred he stand trial, but oh well.

Speak for yourself. I'm sure a large percentage of the world's population are not glad to see innocent people being slaughtered.

But what can you do? Merkans' level of spiritual development seems to be somewhere between that of an amoeba and a dung fly.

If you mean "Americans", I would not have put our spiritual development THAT high. The "large percentage" of our poulation is indeed cheering the death of this "man", and relenquishing all right to claim the moral high ground because they've just proven that they're NO better than he is.

I meant exactly what I said, because you can bet that this bastard cheered when 3000 people were killed on 9/11.

Personally, I'm glad he's dead and we're all spared some ridiculous trial.

You really are unbelievably stupid. It's breathtaking, really.

Yes, you're probably right. A trial would have taken a long time, and all the while he was in prison morons like Timo would have been calling him a political prisoner. I wonder if that dolt can even manage to tie his shoes.

emptyspaces .. read what you just said. Then go kill yourself for it, please.

You're GLAD you were spared a trial? What the fuck is wrong with you? A fair trial is the single most important right you have in the civilised world. To put it in terms you may be able to understand: if you don't give people a fair trial, you're no better than the terrorists.

Hey, Anonymous, let me put this in a way you will (or might) understand: We know he was guilty. He gladly confessed before the whole world. Since he would have eventually had his neck stretched a la Saddam Hussein, those Navy SEALs just saved us some court costs. Moron.

I'm just so sad and lonely. Please hug me and tell me I'm special.

It would have been impossible. Bin Laden died years ago. The current news on him is just political theatre.

The sad part of this is how people react to mindless killing; how gullible and bloodthirsty they are.

How sad to see so much hatred and lack of forgiveness in the world. If Bin Laden has been killed recently as reported it is the worst thing to happen in a long time. It will not bring back the victims of 9/11 in the US or the victims of 7/7 in the UK. What it will do is cause more death and destruction around the world. It is the hatred and lack of forgiveness expressed in some of these comments that is responsible for terror attacks and which also starts wars........
