Sketchup 3D tool

[Thanks to Ray]

Google has a free, and apparently simple, tool for 3D creation: Sketchup.

Now, this looks good. I'm in the planning stages putting an addition to our house. I've drawn some 2D plans, but putting it in
3D would be nice. Thanks for making me aware of this tool (and thanks to Ray for finding it).

Nice. Let's know how it goes.

It's always nice when my surfing actually helps someone. Judging from a couple of those instructional videos, this could be a fun program.

I wonder how it will work with a Wacom Tablet and Pen? Or do we have to use the mouse? I've never found guiding the mouse for drawing to be nearly as accurate for control as a pen is. I haven't tried this program yet, so if this sounds stupid, that's why. :)

The app doesn't know if you're using a mouse or a tablet, it just knows how the cursor moves.
