I was a member of a hiking club here in W. Canada for a while - we didn't carry noisy little bells because the conventional wisdom of the group was that it just announced to the bears - or lions, in Mozambique - that lunch was just around the corner.

I have always had difficulties telling lion cub shit and big lion shit apart. Now it is clear. Thanks for posting this informative letter.
What can I say but, LOL.
TTL, you're absolutely correct. EO is just a wealth of knowledge. I never knew the difference before either. So the next time I'm in Mozambique...:-)
Also note that if you find adult shit, you save the money from having to buy bells yourself.
