When kids are the offenders

This article is long on emotion and short on facts, but it has had big impact and should have. Child abuse hysteria has crossed over into blind, raging insanity.

I just lost what little hope I had left for the human race. We are done. Finished. Within a very short time (shorter than I care to think about) it will be obvious to everybody.
On the other hand, maybe the Mayans are right and it will all end in 2012. Because the world we're creating in the meantime is not one you're going to want to live in.
It's not about the children. Don't you get it? It's all, always, about repression of SEX! Horrible, tempting, god-preserve-us sex. Sex, sex, SEX!!! The only fear, the only worry, the only obsession, the only constant thought.
"Gosh-durnit, junior, I'm a-gonna protect your pyure soul, even if'n ah gots ta kill you to do it. It's fer your own good. You'll thank me later, you'll see. This is gonna hurt me more'n it'll hurt you. Now pants down, time for your belting."
I would take that with a grain of salt. Notice the references and tags to "big government"? Only morons like Kent are swayed by that kind of breathlessly written, overblown, uniformed, inaccurate bullshit.
Grain of salt, I agree. It's way too breathless. But I think the issue is something that needs to be addressed, because the hysteria in the area is just grim.
