#5 reminds me of Baron Munchaussen. Uma Thurman as Vinus De Milo.

#6 I remember seeing a fun 50's underwater set of people doing every day things, except under water. This wasn't one of them, but it reminded me.

#7 the texture on the sky almost makes it look like a mural of DC. She looks lost in that big old car. Is it really a leather clad car? Interesting textures.

#8 wonderful

It seems the car is clad in crocodile skin.

I was torn between croc and snake. Too fine for snake. Still, very decadent.

How does one write a story about a happy petite gal in 1920's DC in a decadent car?

With sophistication and enthusiasm.

I think I know what to do this weekend.

#3 You know cows really are dumb. Can't even figure out how to walk around the fence..

#8 Now how the heck can someone time those two events and actually get a picture of it? It is quite a shot though!!

I'm not even sure what's happening. How did the red ball come on top of the spurt?

"How did the red ball come on top of the spurt"

I assumed that the ball was dropped and the bullet was shot through the splash. OOP, wait a minute, if the ball was dropped then it wouldn't be on top THAT FAST even it floated.

Good question Eolake. Think the pic might have been doctored?

Doubt it, would be a silly kinda photo to doctor.

If it's just the right weight, I guess it might possibly have shot right back up on top of the spurt.

Could be we can't see the initial object - ball, or other splash creating thing.

Eolake Stobblehouse said...

Yeah, I guess. In that case the timing of the whole thing gets rather amazing.

BTW, Eric, did you say you're the guy who once went as Peaceful Blade?
(If you are, send a mail to Laurie, she's tried to get in contact.)

I've also run across the image of the woman in the water, wearing her high heels. Love that photo. Any idea who the photographer is?

Enjoy your blog.
