hes quite humourous, Latvia looks a little depressing but his video of showing people at an art exhibition his porn video is funny, I can sort of relate to it as I remember going to exhibitions where I used to live and the people there were always the most conservative in the community, it was like going to church and the artist was often expected to make a speech, put me off ever wanting to be what they called a high brow artist
Yeah, it's sad, most people either don't have any respect at all for something, or they take it *way* too seriously.
Kudos to him for showing his porn at an art gallery. I'd never have the guts. I was actually surprised people didn't react more aggressively.
Regarding his art photography my first reaction is to brush it off. But then I think it does take some intention to go beyond what we may normally class as art and accept these snapshots as that. In the end though I find it somewhat but not that interesting. I do like the idea of taking photography into the street for guerrilla exhibition, like Banksy, say, and letting people look at the work in new contexts.
I thought his purposely altering his newspaper photos was quite funny too, supposedly unethical and he probably got fired for it but completely harmless
Do tourists nowadays even carry mature palm trees home with them???? LOL.
(I just watched the photo, not clicking the link, just in case I should have missed any pun).
