I do like these photos, they are wonderful snapshots of `found` objects.

I like the way you have taken every day objects, and have made abstract compositions from them, using the shapes and textures to form the composition, and with simplicity too, no fuss or photographic manipulation involved.

It challenges us to view these every day objects in an honest and fresh way, visually examining detail which we normally would miss.

Dear Eolake, thanks a lot for those beautiful pictures, looking at them,I realize again how important is the way we are seeing the world around us,in a natural way or in a pretentious one, that is part of the secret of a such magnificent DOMAI-vision,to show the beauty as it really is and not like some are thinking it should be,covered-up with tones of make-up to make it glitter. When they are considered in a natural way,the simplest things are looking magnificent.
With endless admiration and sympathy, always yours Paul Alexandru Cazacliu artmanro@yahoo.com

Thank you for sharing your pictures with us, Eolake.

I'm tempted to ask - new camera for Christmas???
- Ray.

Sort of. It's the Canon I got a month ago, and which I've blogged about before. The last set was also made with that one.

It's sometimes liberating to work with a simple camera.
And I plan to work more with this one.

These really blow. More "art" by someone talentless - just what the world needs. Good job!

I've got to say that I too am not all that interested in pictures of someone's groceries. Still, I guess you were probably just doin' a little shakedown cruise on the new hardware.

Happy New Year Eolake!!

Sorry I haven`t been about much.

Actually, I do like these photos, they are wonderful snapshots of `found` objects.
So what if they are the groceries or the furniture..isn`t that what these details are all about?

Good shots...
