Robotics progressing (Updated)

Robotics are progressing, watch video.
It takes very fast and sophisticated balancing-computing to make the upright robot walk in a woods with snow on the ground!

Update:

Spooky. Not too hard to imagine it with a gun.

Nope. And I'm sure you're not the first to do so. I think many hard-ons around Pentagon has been inspired thoughts of what such a thing with a machine gun could "accomplish" in many a defenceless hot village around the world. Napalm has gotten so expensive.

And until they can think well enough for themselves, just plug them remotely into videogames globally, and let the kids do some "defending their country" while they think they are playing.

Yeah, that's what I thought. And you'll notice he used a long broom stick instead of his hands when he bullied the robot.

I don't think I could sleep with the thing in the same room at night, the tension would be that thick in the air (to disassemble, before it's too late, or drive on with the further perfection of being able to program the robot to have quick recovery time, upon sliding around on the ground...)

When you watch that "thing," you really do come to appreciate how intricately and wonderfully we all are created; no robot is going to out-perfect God's perfect Design and Creation: [Wo]man... ;-)
