I have a feeling Eolake wasn't serious. Everyone knows who Pete Townsend is. I wonder who the rest of them are, though.
And I thought everybody knew who Jane Harrocks is.
I know about Pete Townshend, but I'm from Denmark, where the Who never was big. And I never watched much TV, so his face just wasnt' familiar to me.
I've never heard of her. I think I would remember that voice! :-)
Jane's unusual talking voice hides one of the spectacular singing voices...
Watch the movie "Little Voice". She plays a young very shy, introverted woman who enjoys female show singers like Billie Holiday etc. And she sings like several of them in the movie, she's a phenomenon.
