Love geek girls

This is Rachel, she was at ComicCon, asking the actors from Big Bang Theory to sing Soft Kitty in a round...
I love cute geek girls. I think maybe I missed out, never going to college.

I doubt they existed in your day, or at least were rarer than today when they're still outnumbered by dudes 10-1. Of course you've also got to look out for the Fake Geek Girl too.

A *fake* geek girl?? Why would anybody fake that? If they want to catch a geek, I'd think that's not that hard.

I wonder that myself, but then I wonder why anyone would self-apply the term "geek" or "nerd" anyway. At least, guys. For chicks it probably doesn't matter that much.

Thing is there is this idea of "con hot" girls, where a chick who's a hard 6 anywhere else becomes an 8 or 9 at a Con. I've never been to one so I haven't seen this in action.

I can believe that. Girls are in real minority amongst comics fans, and a girl in a nice supergirl outfit of course has impact.

Geeks may be killing a derogative word by using it themselves. The Danish gays did this many years ago with "bøsse" (originally meant "gun"). I don't think there is a really derogative word for them anymore in Danish.

Kind of the same thing, over here, Eo; in the military, you'd better be calling your artillery a "weapon," 'cuz a gun...well...it ain't that! ;-)

Thanks! That was quite entertaining! 'Raj' sure is a cutie, as well! :-P Love how humble/meek Jim seems to be; such a doll! :-P

Cracked me up w/all of them entering filming the audience!

Quite the advertising, towards the end! That prize would be quite a thing to experience! :-)

A lot of geeks are probably like Raj and afraid of women. Dressing like a geek might be a way in. Not sure why they'd want one, but hey, whatever.

No kidding! Probably free too, I imagine.

Many cute things, but I think they should have screened the questions better, many of them were just toe-curling (Spiderman asking if Magneto could lift Thor's hammer... whu?), and too few were good, in the way that they could enhance insight into the show or such.

Probably. It feels like a "I'll scratch your back if you'll scratch mine" kind of a deal. That must be some pretty pricey outfit trying to "kick start" a program like that: the vehicle; the clothes; the aviation fuel; tip-top mechanic(s). You sure wouldn't want just any willy-nilly outfit services such an aircraft! :-/

I agree. Also kind of nauseating (as it usually is! lol!) how the 'Penny' character tended to "steal" the show. Poor Geekster 'Amy' was sitting there feeling quite...awkward, it seemed. :-(

I was kind of missing [smart-alec] 'Leonard,' as well.

Penny's days are numbered. The bloom has gone off the rose. They will probably squeeze a couple more seasons out of a show that started tired and old.

ROFLMAO! (my sides are killing me from laughing re: this one that I bumped into, tonight! :-D

Thanks, I put it in the post.
