When you drink the water, remember the river.
We are talking about a tooth brush here, right?Sorry EO, the devil made me do it...
Those thangs are too small to be much fun for anything else.
G.U.M. Go-Betweens come in different (tiny) sizes. Your dentist should be able to give you a sample, I get mine from the drug store (Chemist). Cellophane wrapped 2" x 5" package contains a useful little polyethylene box for coins of photo cards after the brush has died of excessive use.
"Coins of photo cards"... Whu??With me, maybe I'm clumsy, but they mostly last just for one or two uses. Then they are bent too much. And all of them seem to be priced to last much longer. I can get different sizes, even on Amazon, but it would be great if there was a conical one which fit all, you'd just slide it further if there's more space.
But thanks, I'll check out that brand.
for coins OR photo (memory)cards. That's 'whu'! Sorry about the typo! Go-Betweens come with a yellow handle (straight) and a green handle (conical, slightly bigger interdental gaps). I agree about product life & cost - talk to your dentist or chemist about getting a bulk supply for a whole lot less (each).
Aha. Thanks. (BTW, I use plastic film canisters for coins, they're great.)
Eo...if you don't have any bridge work, just simple floss will work wonders...especially Glide brand. It doesn't tear and it's more like tape w/a cool coating on it; I think it's teflon, if I remember, correctly. I have some of the tightest contacts and everything else used to tear/shred but this stuff doesn't; it's wonderful! And...that's usually enough "stim" to keep the gums healthy, as well. :-)
My dentist says that floss is great for the tight spaces, but does much less in the larger spaces.
It seems to me that for larger spaces, you have to slide the floss on the sides of the teeth, and that should have the same effect.
Now this comment was posted without any magic word to type in. Will it disappear?
No. I have disabled the Captcha's, on a trial basis. (I do get rather more spam already.)
My dentist didn't recommend floss for other than the smallest spaces. And to be frank I really don't have the dexterity or patience to effectively use it in that way, I think.
Well, as long as you find the suitable technology :)
I scratchbuilt my own interdental once.
