He has a tiny manual darkroom inside the camera! So cool.

How can he see anything inside the box when he looks inside? Labs have red light bulbs... but that needs electricity...
But anyway, it is just great to wash ! :) It reminds me of the times when I was developing negatives myself, one had to shut all light off, even the red one, and deal with the material in total darkness. I didn't do it often, but it was real magic! :)

It was not very clear. But I suspect that the box has a little window of red plastic.
Given the vintage, it is probably red glass.
That is real photography. No two ways about it.
