Leica's back,
article.
Not even as expensive as one might have feared. Rock and roll. ('scuse the expression. The past half hour I've just been listening to the three songs in the "Tush" post below at full vol.)
Compact likkle fokker, yet with large sensor. Another candidate to the long awaited high-quality "digital street camera". If it's fast and the image quality is what you'd expect from a Leica, and has no egregious faults...

That's sweet. I wonder if it's buy time.
Take a look at belgiumdigital.com - they actually show photographs and don't dwell much on the technical aspects of the cameras and lenses.
It STILL seems that those who have no creative seed in their photography have a NEED to talk only about equipment.
This new Leica, in the hands of a visual moron, with no understanding or concept of design, composition, DOF, focus, exposure will not make this person a photographer.
Look at the crap published around us daily -
Is that camera really small, or does that guy just have huge, Andre the Giant hands?
I am not sure exactly *how* small it it is, but it's definitely one of the smallest with an APS-C sensor (like most DSLRs have). The other one being Sigma DP2, which gives great pics, but is awfully slow.
