This blog contains artistic nudity - if you are under 18 or if display of nudity is illegal where you live, you will find this particularly interesting.

Thanks, ttl, for the intriguing tease. And thank you ever so much, Eolake, for the post. Now I must look in your archives for Jade. I am also intrigued!!!

Some domai members might be thrown at first, by the mature model. They are used to women barely of age. But at least she's white. I've noticed that most domai models are white. You might say White Russians. Ha ha.

Good one. :-)

I've tried campaigns to get more diversity, it didn't help. Not sure why.

That is a real mystery. I mean, beauty's beauty, right? You'd think that sexual attraction played a role here or something. But that's just crazy talk init?

Eolake Stobblehouse said...

Of course there's a sexual element.

However the reason for so many caucasians is simply that less than 2% of the work I get submitted is of non-caucasians. I even tried advertising specifically to change it, in vain.

I must say I am mesmerized by this Women of Avalon site. The combination of beauty, serenity and depth is extraordinaire. Sites with nudie pix rarely hold my interest very long, but this one is different. Watching it changes your biochemistry and makes you a better person. These are metaphysical nudes.

I am confused about who models/photographs/blogs where though. Or even if the Women of Avalon blog is the main "entry point" to these women. :-) From what I understand there is some kind of a network of like minded people joined in co-creation. Unbearable Lightness and Iris Dassault are magnificiently beautiful, however.

For me that's definitely not the case. But then, I'm not a Domai subscriber. (Though I did once date a White Russian.)

Eolake Stobblehouse said...

So did I. And drank one too.
Olga was a pretty blonde 26-year-old Russian Doctor. But that's a long and sad story. (She really was named Olga. It's a spectacularly common name there.)

TTL, did you see the magicFluteNudes link?

"TTL, did you see the magicFluteNudes link?"

Yes, and about six or seven other sites associated with these people. Maybe their hidden agenda is to take over the Internet? Google is on for a surprise.

Eolake Stobblehouse said...

Well, at least, like Google, they are not evil. :-)

It's not uncommon, seems to me, that many sites are weak in the basic journalistic Ws: "Who, what, when, where...?"

Of course it's more important in commerce and journalism than in sites like Avalon, which is art.

Dear eolake,

I enjoyed reading this thread, and thank you Anon for the nice comments about the Avalon blog.

Surprise, surprise!!!

Joe Crachiola and I are launching a new blog this week, "What We Saw Today," the perceptions of model Unbearable Lightness and photographer Joseph Crachiola. This will be a "no rules" blog, so posts will have a full range of topics and images. Our address is http://www.drlightness.blogspot.com.

We would like permission to link to your blog. Of course, we also hope you will come and visit our blog when you can.

Thanks so much,
Joe and Unbearable Lightness
